'Stupid Sonic...'

"...had me worried sick!"

Amy returned home one day from a 'teddy bear' picnic with her friends, only to realize she had left her Sonic doll behind!
Distraught, she ran to the door to go and search for her beloved plushie only to find it was raining down heavy.

Without a second thought she grabbed her rain coat and boots along with her trusty umbrella and dashed out into the rain without looking back!

The pink hedgehog was now even more desperate to find her darling Sonic for she knew she could not leave him out in the rain for he hated being wet.

Amy searched the entire park for her blue hedgehog,
she looked in the sand pit, beside the swings and amongst the bushes, but to no success.
She even very bravely climbed to the very top of the tallest slide in the park for a better view of the area, but the little, lost hedgehog was no where to be seen.

Poor Amy was very tired by now and the rain was coming down heavier than ever, but she knew she could not give up on her Sonic, he meant the world to her and she was determined to search all night if she had to.

As the search continued she became worried out of her mind as she wondered how she ever could have lost him in the first place!
She knew she was in a hurry to get home earlier that morning from the picnic because of the dark clouds that had threatened the rest of her afternoon with heavy showers.
What if she had been running and Sonic had accidentally fallen from her picnic basket!?

"He could be anywhere!" She thought aloud, "how will I ever find him now!?"
Dismal and soaking wet, she began to retrace her steps back to her house sobbing all the way.
As she then began to reach her house she peered sadly up her pathway,
it was then that through teary eyes she noticed a familiar blue colour stand out to her from her front porch,
as she ran up the path towards her house she let out a huge sob of relief as a blue, stuffed hedgie smiled up at her from the dry wooden floor of her porch.

In an instant she threw her umbrella to the ground and picked him up, squeezing him so tightly that she fell backwards landing on her bottom,
she contently looked down at her smiling, blue hedgie,
and in that moment she felt a warm sensation drift over her as the rain had stopped and the sun came out.
